It worked!

The key and fob were just like the original. I could not find anyone locally that would cut the key since it requires side milling. But I found an Ebay seller who can cut the key from a photo. I sent him the key and he cut it perfectly the first time. I was hesitant about programming the new fob as I could not find a good description. I finally took a close look at my car's manual and it actually had great instructions about programming fobs. In the end, programming took me about 3 minutes. All in all, a good experience.
