Description
All vehicles that use this remote are onboard programmable, meaning you can program the vehicle to accept new remotes yourself without any special tools or knowledge. Free phone tech support is available if needed.
This is a regular used remote for Mazda with the FCC ID of KPU41048 and the part number: TA17675DYA. This remote features four buttons: Lock, Unlock, Panic, Trunk. This remote sends it's signals on a frequency of 314Mhz.
IMPORTANT: Before entering programming mode, have in possession all of the transmitters you will be using on the vehicle. Once you program the transmitter, all previous codes will be erased from the memory. The other transmitters will not be functional until you program the transmitters again. The system can accept up to three transmitters.
Programming procedure:
1.Remove the key from the ignition.
2.Close all doors.
3.Open the driver?? side door and leave it open.
4.Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to ON (as far as you can go without starting the engine) and then to OFF. Remove the key from the ignition. Repeat two more times, making sure you remove the key from the ignition each time.
5.Push the driver?? door frame button three times (the black rubber button located on the driver?? door frame that tells the vehicle whether the door is closed or not). If you can?? find this button, just close and then open the driver?? door three times.
6.The door locks will cycle or a chime will sound at this point signaling that the vehicle is now in programming mode. If not, wait 40 seconds and return to step 1.
7.All transmitters need to be programmed at this time, including the old ones. Push any button on a transmitter two times. The locks will cycle or a chime will sound signaling that the vehicle has accepted the new transmitter code. Push any button on each one of the additional transmitters two times to program them. The system will accept up to three remotes.
8.After all remote are programmed, wait 15 seconds or until you hear four chimes signaling successful programming. You can now test the remote(s) for function.
