The subsequent Learn Routine may be used to add any remote fob whose PC Board ID is DT8B, DT8C, or RT4A, regardless of if the keyfob's FCC ID is EZSDEI493C or EZSDEI467 or EZSDEI492, EZSDEI493 or something else, when being used on these systems: Automate 2, Automate 3+, Automate 5+, Equalizer 2, Valet 710T, Hornet 718T, Hornet 719T, Python 650, Python 750, Sidewinder 5000, Sidewinder 6000, Wasp 718W, Viper 300+, Viper C 50, Viper 500+, Viper 500NX. To be able to go into the Programming Procedure, the system’s Valet/Programming button should be connected to the blue port.

Channel 1 is for Arm, Disarm, and Panic. Channel 2 is designed for Silent Mode or Remote Valet mode if the system was wired for it. Channel 3 is optional and only used in the event your system was set up for a third channel.
1. Open the driver's door.
2. Insert key in ignition and turn towards the ON/RUN position.
3. Push the valet button ONCE, press again and hold it until step 5. The system will chirp once.
4. Press button #1 on the remote. A single chirp confirms channel has been learned.
5. Release the valet button. Remove key to finish.

If your system uses channel 2:
1. Open up the driver door.
2. Stick key in ignition and switch to your ON/RUN position.
3. Push the valet button TWICE, push again and hold it until step Five. The system will chirp once.
4. Press button #2 on the remote. One chirp verifies channel has been learned.
5. Let go the valet button. Remove key to finish.

If your system uses channel 3:
1. Open the driver door.
2. Put key in ignition and turn to the ON/RUN position.
3. Push the valet button THREE TIMES, press once more and hold it until step Five. The system will chirp once.
4. Press both buttons together on the remote fob . A single chirp confirms channel has been learned.
5. Let go the valet button. Take out key to conclude.
