This particular Learn Routine may be used to program any fob whose PC Board ID is DT8B, DT8C, or RT4A, whether or not the remote keyfob's FCC ID is EZSDEI493C or EZSDEI467 or EZSDEI492, EZSDEI493 or anything else, when being used on these systems: Automate 2, Automate 3+, Automate 5+, Equalizer 2, Valet 710T, Hornet 718T, Hornet 719T, Python 650, Python 750, Sidewinder 5000, Sidewinder 6000, Wasp 718W, Viper 300+, Viper C 50, Viper 500+, Viper 500NX. So that you can enter the Programming Routine, the system’s Valet/Programming button must be plugged into the blue port.

Channel 1 is for Arm, Disarm, and Panic. Channel 2 is designed for Silent Mode or Remote Valet mode in the event the system was set up for this. Channel 3 is optional and only used in case your system was set up for a 3rd channel.
1. Open the driver door.
2. Put key in ignition and turn into the ON/RUN position.
3. Push the valet button ONCE, push again and hold it until step Five. The system will chirp once.
4. Press button #1 on the remote. One chirp indicates channel has been learned.
5. Let go of the valet button. Take out key to conclude.

If your system uses channel 2:
1. Open up the driver's door.
2. Insert key in ignition and turn towards the ON/RUN position.
3. Press the valet button TWO TIMES, press again and hold it until step Five. The system will chirp once.
4. Push button #2 on the remote. One chirp verifies channel has been learned.
5. Release the valet button. Remove key to end.

If your system uses channel 3:
1. Open the driver's door.
2. Stick key in ignition and turn into the ON/RUN position.
3. Push the valet button THREE TIMES, press again and hold it until step 5. The system will chirp once.
4. Push both buttons together on the remote . One chirp verifies channel has been learned.
5. Let go of the valet button. Remove key to conclude.
