This relates to remotes with FCC ID GOH-M24 and GOH-MM6-101890 and ELVATKC

PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS:

Most systems made after 1993 use this procedure:
  1. Open the driver’s door. Turn the ignition key ON (turn key all the way forward without starting vehicle).
  2. Press and Hold the programming/override button (located under dash). In approximately 20 seconds the system will start to cycle the door locks and siren (if equipped) 3 times to indicate the system has entered the transmitter learn mode (Do not release the programming/override button).
  3. Press the #1 button on the un-programmed transmitter. The system will respond by cycling the door locks and the siren (if equipped) one time to indicate the transmitter has been learned.
  4. All other transmitters (up to four) also need to be programmed at this time.
  5. Programming is now complete, let go of the programming/override button and turn ignition off to exit learn mode.

Most systems made before 1993 use this procedure:
  1. Obtain the TWO or FOUR digit code off the module. The Code will be located in the following locations:
  2. oPlaced on a sticker on the back side of the module labeled “Code#”.
  3. oLocated on the portion of the circuit board beneath the spade connectors. There will be two rows of 1-5. Which ever number is shaded in BLUE in each row is the CODE number for that module.
  4. Make sure the system is disarmed and the ignition is off.
  5. Without starting the vehicle, turn the ignition ON, OFF then ON at ½ second intervals.
  6. After two seconds the status indicator will begin flashing for Code Entry.
  7. Allow the status indicator to flash the corresponding number of times as the first number in the code. Turn ignition OFF. The first number has been entered.
  8. Turn ignition back to the ON position. The status indicator will again begin flashing. Repeat the previous step, this time using the second digit of the Code.
  9. Repeat previous steps if unit is equipped with a four digit code (Z-7).
  10. If correct code has been entered, the siren will chirp twice indicating entry into Transmitter Programming Mode.
  11. Wait 5 seconds and then press button #1 on the un-programmed transmitter.
  12. All other transmitters (up to four) also need to be programmed at this time.
  13. Programming is now complete. To exit programming mode turn the vehicle ignition ON then OFF.

Some systems (a minority) built by Code Alarm for OEM brands (ex Ford, GM, Chrysler) in the 1990s use this procedure:

Note: Each system module has four “slots”, or memory locations, to store transmitter codes, giving it the ability to operate from up to four transmitters. For proper operation, a transmitter code must be stored into each memory slot. When using less than four transmitters, follow the suggested programming parameters:
  • One Remote Transmitter - Program four (4) times
  • Two Remote Transmitters - Program each transmitter two (2) times
  • Three Remote Transmitters - Program one transmitter twice, and each remaining transmitter once.
1. Press and hold the brake pedal. Turn the ignition on and off three (3) times, then release the brake pedal. If done correctly, the unit will respond by flashing the parking lights three (3) times. (From inside the vehicle, you will hear three (3) ‘clicks’ from the module.) This indicates that the unit has entered the programming mode.
2a. Without pressing the brake pedal, press the LOCK button (button 1) on the remote transmitter to be programmed. The parking lights will flash once (one click from the module), indicating that the system has “learned” that remote transmitter.
2b. Repeat step 2a for any additional transmitters or transmitter codes.
3. Press and release the brake pedal to exit the programming mode. Test all remote transmitters to ensure that they work properly.
