There are 6 remotes with FCC ID ABO0204T. GM gave each of these remotes different part numbers to represent the different button configurations. 10245950 has just Lock and Unlock buttons. 10245951 has Lock, Unlock, Power Sliding Door. 10245952 has Lock, Unlock, Panic. 10245953 has Lock, Unlock, Power Sliding Door, Panic. 10246215 has Lock, Unlock, Trunk, Panic. 10246216 has Lock, Unlock, Trunk. 10245950, 10245951, 10245952, 10245953 are compatible with 97-00 Venutre, Silhouette, Transport/Montana. 10246215 is compatible with 97-00 Century, Regal, 98-00 Intrigue, 97-00 Grand Prix. 10246216 is compatible with 97-98 Grand Prix.

All the vehicles that use these remotes are onboard programmable, so you can easily perform programming on your own.

Programming the 97-00 Regal and Century, and 98-00 Intrigue:
Note: Before beginning the programming routine, have with you every one of the keyless fobs you want to use on the automobile. When you enter programming mode, all previous keyfobs will be cleared from the memory. The other transmitters will not work until you program the transmitters again.

  1. Shut your car doors.
  2. Insert key in ignition and turn to ON (As far as you can without starting engine)
  3. Move ignition to OFF and remove the key from the ignition.
  4. Press and hold the driver side door lock switch in the UNLOCK position and don’t let go until step 8.
  5. Put the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder and remove the key. (Do not turn the ignition key in the lock cylinder.)
  6. Insert the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder and remove the key. (Don't turn the ignition key in the lock cylinder.)
  7. Put the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder. (Do not turn the ignition key in the lock cylinder.) Leave the ignition key in the ignition lock cylinder.
  8. Let go of the door lock switch. Your car will make three beeps in order to verify the Programming Mode has begun.
  9. Press the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons in unison on the remote and hold up until the vehicle beeps twice to confirm that the key fob has been successfully programmed (this takes about 15 seconds).
  10. Repeat step 9 for every single remote key you wish to program as well as your current working remotes. You can add up to 4 keyless remotes.
  11. Remove the ignition key as a way to exit the Programming Mode.

Programming 97-00 Venture, Silhouette, Transport, Montana:
  1. Have the key out of the ignition.
  2. Remove “BCM PRGRM” fuse from your fuse panel, found by opening the front passenger door. Use the legend on the fuse panel to correctly locate the “BCMPRGRM” fuse.
  3. Make sure every door is closed.
  4. Close the liftgate.
  5. Insert key into your ignition, and switch the ignition lock cylinder to ACC (one click towards you - the opposite direction from starting the engine).
  6. Switch the ignition to OFF, and back to ACC within One second.
  7. Open and shut any vehicle door A chime should be heard once the system enters the programming mode.
  8. Press and hold the remote LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 14 seconds. IMPORTANT: After 7 seconds, a chime may be heard confirming successful synchronization. It is necessary to wait approximately 14 seconds for a second chime that will confirm successful programming. Your new remote has been accepted and all existing remote codes have been erased.
  9. Repeat the previous step on each additional transmitter to be programmed (including any existing transmitters).
  10. Remove the ignition key from your ignition lock cylinder.
  11. Install the “BCM PRGRM” fuse back into the fuse panel.

Programming 97-00 Grand Prix:
IMPORTANT: Before beginning the programming routine, have with you every one of the keyfobs you desire to use on the automobile. As soon as programming mode is entered, all previous remotes will be deleted from the memory. The other key fobs will not be functional unless you program the transmitters again.

  1. Key not in ignition.
  2. Shut all the doors.
  3. Remove the “MALL PGM” fuse from the fuse panel. Use the legend on the fuse panel or owner’s manual to effectively find the “MALL PGM” fuse.
  4. Insert the keys into the ignition, and move towards the ACC position.
  5. Turn the key to OFF and then back to ACC within 1 second.
  6. Open and shut any vehicle door. A chime can be heard when the system enters the programming mode. NOTE: In some rare cases you may even get the chimes and enter programming mode without opening and closing the door.
  7. Push and hold the transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons together for 14 seconds. IMPORTANT: After 7 seconds, a chime may be heard confirming successful synchronization. It is necessary to wait approximately 14 seconds for a second chime that will confirm successful programming.
  8. Repeat the previous step on each additional keyfob to be programmed (including any existing key fobs).
  9. Remove the key from the ignition.
  10. Install the “MALL PGM” fuse back into the fuse panel.
