The below Programming Procedure can be used to program any remote transmitter whose PC Board ID is DT8B, DT8C, or RT4A, whether the keyfob's FCC ID is EZSDEI493C or EZSDEI467 or EZSDEI492, EZSDEI493 or something different, when being used on these systems: Automate 2, Automate 3+, Automate 5+, Equalizer 2, Valet 710T, Hornet 718T, Hornet 719T, Python 650, Python 750, Sidewinder 5000, Sidewinder 6000, Wasp 718W, Viper 300+, Viper C 50, Viper 500+, Viper 500NX. In order to go into the Learn Routine, the system’s Valet/Programming button needs to be plugged into the blue port.

Channel 1 is made for Arm, Disarm, and Panic. Channel 2 is for Silent Mode or Remote Valet mode if your system was wired for it. Channel 3 is optional and only used if your system was wired for a third channel.
1. Open up the driver door.
2. Insert key in ignition cylinder and turn to the ON/RUN position.
3. Push the valet button One time, push again and hold it until step Five. The system will chirp once.
4. Press button #1 on the remote. A single chirp indicates channel has been learned.
5. Let go of the valet button. Remove key to conclude.

If your system uses channel 2:
1. Open up the driver's door.
2. Insert key in ignition and turn to your ON/RUN position.
3. Press the valet button TWICE, press again and hold it until step 5. The system will chirp once.
4. Push button #2 on the remote. One chirp confirms channel has been learned.
5. Release the valet button. Remove key to complete.

If your system uses channel 3:
1. Open the driver's door.
2. Stick key in ignition and turn towards the ON/RUN position.
3. Press the valet button THRICE, press again and hold it until step 5. The system will chirp once.
4. Press both buttons together on the keyfob . A single chirp confirms channel has been learned.
5. Release the valet button. Take out key to end.
