This remote is no longer available. This remote is the 142-13 and 142-23 but it is easily confused with the 124-13, 124-23, and 124-33.

The way to tell the difference between them is the circuit board number. Circuit board ID AIG16RK means you have a 124. Circuit board ID AIG18RK2 means you have 142.

Programming Instructions:

  1. Before you begin, your system must be in a disarmed state and you must know where your valet switch is located. Perform the following steps:
  2. Turn the vehicle's ignition to the "on" position
  3. Within 7 seconds of step 1, press the valet switch 5 times. The alarm should respond with a long siren chirp.
  4. Press the large/ lock button on your remote (for Freedom 500, C-5, and K9 Mundial2, press 2nd or 3rd channel. For MARS-22, press Lock & Unlock at the same time). The alarm should respond with a short siren chirp.
  5. Repeat step 3 for each additional remote that is to operate the system (up to 4 remotes).

Note: the system will automatically exit programming mode if it detects a 15 second period of no activity.
