Description

In the 1990s and also to a lesser degree in the early 2000s, some Toyota Dealerships in the US upsold a Dealership Installed Keyless Alarm System which used a remote head key which could also be used as a regular remote by removing the keyblade.  Replacement remotes have been discontinued by the manufacturer.  We sell a Code Alarm remote which works as a compatible replacement.  You can add remotes to your system using our easy programming instructions.

The original remote (remote head key's) FCC ID was ELVAT6B.  It had 3 buttons and a red LED light.  We test remotes before shipping to you to ensure it is sending proper signals.

15.  Turn key to OFF.  Hear a soft and loud beep.  Programming is complete.

Important Notes:

The system should be disarmed before you try to enter programming mode.  Use old remote's unlock button or the valet switch to disarm the alarm first.
System times out of programming in 15 seconds of inactivity.  Ther'll be a soft chirp then a loud chirp.  If it happens then start over from beginning.
When it says "one after another," this means consecutively, not simultaneously.  This is very important to avoid trouble.
The instructions are written for the replacement remote but for your info, when we say TRUNK and REMOTE START buttons on the new style remote, they relate to the GREEN button if you were to program an original remote control.
