The original remotes were of poor quality and often didn't last long.  We sell a replacement remote which looks different but works the same because we pre-code the remote to send the types of signals the original would.  We test remotes on keyless entry signal testers to be sure it is working before we send it to you.

GM originally made this remote with FCC ID ABO0503T and later revised it to ABO0603T. They are the same.  The 3 button version of this remote has a GM part number of 10215012, while the 2 button's part number was 10239762.

There were non-compatible remotes that look the same which have the FCC ID of ABO0203T.  If you have an existing remote, compare FCC ID's to choose the correct one.

Additional Information

Programming Instructions (If your keyless entry system was installed at the factory:)

1. Remove your glove box. 
2. Vehicle Ignition must be in the "ON" position.
3. Momentarily depress the "Program" switch on the receiver (accessed through a hole on top of the glove box) and it will acknowledge successful entry into programming mode by locking then unlocking the vehicle doors.
4. Within 10 seconds, press any button on the first transmitter to program it. The receiver shall then acknowledge successful programming by locking then unlocking the vehicle doors.
5. Within 10 seconds, repeat step 4 to program the next transmitter (if any, including your old one).
6. Wait 10 seconds after the last transmitter has been programmed and turn the Ignition Switch "OFF".
7. Test transmitter(s) for function.

Programming Instructions (If your keyless entry system was installed at the dealership:)

Same as above except the system is unlikely to be located behind the glove box.  It could be but usually not.  When the system was installed at the dealership the location of the receiver was up to the installer.  Check under/behind the dash, under seats, behind trim of left and right quarter panels.

OVERVIEW

RETURN POLICY

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 days of delivery of your order.

The following rules apply:

  • Products must be in the same condition we sent it in.
  • Shipping Fees are non-refundable.
  • All returns must be made by signing in, going to MY ACCOUNT, clicking order history, finding the order, click Return this item.There are few non-returnable products & services that may be offered on our website. It will indicate clearly in the product description if a different return policy applies.
  • Order cancellations can only be requested prior to shipment.

RETURN PROCEDURE

To return a product, you must first request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) that is located in the MY ACCOUNT section next to each order item that you want to return.

EXCHANGE PROCEDURE

There are 2 ways you can go about exchanging a product:

  • Option 1 (Slower) - Use the standard return procedure to request an RMA for the part you need exchanged. In your request please specify the exact item(s) you would like to exchange to. Upon receipt of your returned product we will process an exchange and ship the new part. If there is a difference in the price, you will be either refunded or charged the difference.
  • Option 2 (Faster) - Order the new part over the phone and request to include a prepaid label to send back the first purchase for refund.

DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

We all know that accidents happen sometimes. If your product(s) will arrive defective, damaged, or simply incorrect, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible. Please do not attempt to use or install the part! We will send you a replacement part and provide you with a prepaid return label to return the defective part. Product(s) must be returned to us within 30 days. If the damage was caused by a shipping courier, we will schedule a damage pick up by the courier.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

When you request a cancellation of an order or a part it may take up to 24 business hours to process your cancellation claim. This process may involve voiding orders in computer systems, removing items from backorder logs, having operations personnel pull items from production schedules and sometimes stopping orders at the shipping dock. Also note that sometimes products ship more quickly than expected, so we recommend that you do not purchase alternative products until receiving final confirmation of your cancellation.

REFUNDS & CREDITS

After we accept your return, you will be issued a refund via the same payment method as you had originally used to place the order. The refund amount will be composed of the original purchase price minus shipping charges. You will be sent an email confirming receipt of the return and your credit. Please allow an additional 5-7 days for the credit to appear on your account.

There are two possible reasons to not see an add to cart button: 1) You haven't made the required choices in dropdowns or buttons near the price. 2) There could be a quote button instead of add to cart if a product is out of stock or if we need to double check availability before placing an order.
