I bought a DEI remote and you sent me all these different instructions. How do I know which ones to use?

To start, let's say that we group DEI remotes that are compatible together.  It is good for us because we don't have to stock every kind of DEI remote.  You may have received a remote that looks similar but is not identical to your old one.  For example, you may have received a 474A instead of a 474V.  They are completely compatible.  Now here is the only trick.  You don't use the programming instructions for a 474A.  You have to use the instructions for a 474V because that is the remote that your sytem was origninally designed to use.

 

So when you receive a whole bunch of programming instructions from us, make sure to use the instructions that match your old remote, not necessarily the remote we sent.
