Each product on the site will say in the product title the length of the warranty if there is one.
Remotes:
If a remote arrives and you can't get it programmed then call technical support (when you are in the vehicle with remotes and keys and the packing slip and instructions.) We will make sure you got the right remote for the right application and the correct instructions. We will walk through the programming with you over the phone in order to try to identify/solve the problem. If we determine the remote may be defective we will send out another one with a prepaid return envelope for the defective one.
If the remote works for a few months and then quits working: Change the battery. If that doesn't make it work then try reprogramming it. If that doesn't help then call technical support. If the remote's electronics stop working we will replace it as long as it stopped on it's own. (For example: If we get back a remote with Coca-Cola all over the circuit board we are not replacing it.)
We do not cover the case of the remote. If the plastic cracks or breaks apart from abuse that is not our responsibility to replace. We are covering the functionality of the electronics. Our warranty guarantees that the remote will produce the correct codes at the correct frequency to work on the appropriate system.
We test each remote before it ships. We test that it produces a signal, the strength of the signal, and we verify the remote is stable on the correct frequency.
If technical support is unable to help you program the system to accept the remote you may return it for a refund of the purchase price as long as it is in the same condition as we sent it to you. See refund policy for specifics.
If you order a brand new remote it will be sealed in a plastic bag. This preserves it's newness. Do not open the package until you have successfully programmed the system to accept the remote. The bag will have a sticker to remind you. If you return or exchange a remote that was new before you opened it then the refund will be the price for a used remote and the exchange will be for a used remote.
Programming Instructions: There are no refunds for programming instructions. If you purchase instructions we will try our best to provide technical support. Make sure you are purchasing the correct instructions for your application before completing the purchase. Call customer service if you are unsure.
Keys: You can only return a key for a refund if it is still uncut and brand new. We check the transponders of all chipkeys before we ship.
There are no refunds on shipping, ever.
Once we ship your products the following are invalid reasons for return:
1. I found the item I was trying to replace.
2. I sold/wrecked my car.
3. My vehicle is not equipped with the system. (For all the factory remotes we explain on the website how to determine if your vehicle has the system.)
